Voices For Our Fathers Legacy Foundation has become a recognized and respected organization that speaks as a moral authority for the 625 men unethically abused in the United States Public Health Service Study of Untreated Syphilis in the Negro Male at Tuskegee and Macon County, Alabama, 1932 – 1972. Founded in 2014 by descendants only ten years ago,this small organization has made significant inroads humanizing and honoring the legacies of our fathers, grandfathers, uncles, cousins, and great grandfathers. We have lived with and understand how the sacrifices of our ancestors have impacted our personal health care, trust and mistrust in government funded vaccines, and biomedical and public health research, as well as illuminated racism in the health care system.
